About and Exhibitions
About:
I am an artist, I love all kinds of expression. Through life and art.
Since I'm a child I am was always finding ways to express myself. I start painting, and dancing since my first years. And always wanted to be a painter, a dancer, and to discover the univerese. I remember dancing in front of a TV, in my grandmothers house, with her scarf in my hands as wings like a Sufi dance.
I painted naturally, I loved the silence, the no time and space, that moment, when creating something. With all the colors. The art it was a way of being with myself, enchanted, by the beauty, also to understand the world.
I like to paint persons. All my life was one off my favorite subjects, I have others BUT, persons yes. Why? Because I feel I have more in there that in others subjects. When I see a face, I see much more in there, I see a face, history, past, present, I see emotions, thoughts, soul, words. I see desires. I can see the music they like. Music is something important for me.
So for me by painting a person, I feel the freedom, do go, in so many infinite directions. It's as open subject. And as a result, often a lot of ingredients pop up traveling to the painting. There are many layers in these portraits, the conscious, subconscious, cultural as a collective, as also as an individual with a unique world. All of that is reflected, as my own world also.
Others of my main inspirations, is nature. I love a paint that is like to be in the middle of the jungle. Is like a window, to the vitality of jungle. And it's good to remind, here and there, that we are also wild.
Tecnically I love the duality: detail, to paint and draw details, and also explosions of colors, mixtures of water and color that i can't control, and together in this dance something is created. Both by myself and life.
"Bring it up, Bring it out, Let live." It's the motto of my Essence Blossom Portraits.
Just a curious story about a moment in my work… A friend of mine, once was in my home while I was painting a portrait of Alicia Keys, painting at that moment an abstract part, and she was astonished with the time I had taken to paint a seamless part, abstract, she was like, wow you are there for so long, and I said, yep I'm a perfectionist, I take the time as needed to do, as my vision says.

"I felt inspired by myself when I saw my portrait, I know it can
sound strange or ego trip, but I just felt genuinely inspired, I look at it,
and by that, to me, and remember thinking: What a cool guy I am!
It was hidden, but yes I have a story and I like it and embrace it!"
